“We are joining an ongoing project in Ghana that lacked funding for completion. The goal is for Adomfe to be self-sufficient in 3 years. I hope more companies will embrace this kind of initiative.”

And we offer you the opportunity to see the lifelong impact of your investment through an investors trip. Opportunities abound, we are happy to discuss them with you.
SDG’s in companies.
In this global village, the whole world is at our fingertips. Socially engaged companies are looking beyond national borders and gradually more companies are starting to take part in supporting the SDGs. The global goals are not only finding their place in CSR policies, but also in corporate strategies, procurements and reporting. Thus, more and more companies are aligning their business activities with the SDGs – for themselves, their customers, their employees and the world. As a company, there are different opportunities for you to work with the SDGs. Through a partnership with The Hunger Project, you not only invest in SDG2 (zero hunger); but through our integrated approach, you ultimately contribute to several of the 17 goals.
Donors or investors?
Words matter. That is why we do not call the people that support our work donors, but investors. Not because they receive financial returns, but because investments in our work produces social returns: social impact. This makes you a shareholder in our results. . To us, the term ‘donor’ leans too much towards charity and dependence. And that, by definition, is what we do not want. We see an equal partnership between people with hunger that have the capacity to improve their own situations, the team of The Hunger Project, and those who contribute financially to facilitate this work.
